Todays challenge was a wonderful way to capture Milana at this stage.  Currently, Milana is in a "book phase" she loves Curious George books and the lil books with sound buttons and lots of pretty bright pictures. Of course when I go to take her picture she passes on her books and reaches for Nerina's books. Here she is with Nerina's favorite books and teddy(Cooper)

Day 2: 30 Day Challenge with your kids (Clickin Moms)

Day 2: Sleep

I had to capture the kiddos sleeping today for Day #2. This has been one of my biggest challenges yet. I'm not too savy in working with low-light situations, since I'm an natural light photographer. Milana sleeps in pitch darkness and Nerina doesn't really nap anymore.  And of course out of all days, Milana was super duper tired today...so interrupting her nap for me to take her picture wasn't really what I wanted to do.
So, what to do then? I took my chances and entered her room, I grabbed the small battery powered candle that Nerina has and placed it in Milana's crib.

Here is what I got...a little noisy but i'll take it for this cuteness..

30 Day Challenge with your kids (Clickin Moms)

Today was Day 1 of the "30 day challenge with your kids" with clickinmoms.
I've joined plenty of challenges in my photography journey and something or the other came up and I wasn't able to complete it.
I'm determined to complete this one since it has to do with kids, which is the very reason I got into photography.
